Vintage Restored True Temper Tomahawk hatchet head, all polished up and
sharpened, and hung with a cherry wedge on a handmade, octagonal curly maple
handle (and waxed with Black Pine Axe Wax - also available in the shop). I made
the sheath from maroon 10 oz cowhide leather and brass burr rivets. I stitched
the sheath together with brass coated copper wire to match the brass burr
rivets. This hatchet is a beautiful display piece that is also functional. This
would make a great throwing hatchet!
