This is OLD RARE VINTAGE GDR EAST GERMAN QUALITY FORGED AXE head.Hand forged
axe head, made from the German manufacturer.This European model felling axes
have a very thin, slightly springy blade for maximum cutting efficiency. The
blade is hardened almost all the way back to the eye, so with careful
sharpening the tool will deliver a lifetime of excellent service. As you may
see from the photos above the axe head is marked from the manufacturer with P
10.The markings are clear and well readable.
The axe head is produced at 1970's - 80's.
Without any cracks on the head or on the blade of the Axe.
The axe have some strong signs of age and wear. Stains, damaged areas or
soiling may occur, these and any dimensions can be found in the pictures below.
The axe are exclusively original loft or barn finds from barren areas, not yet
in collector's hand, untouched, unpurified as found !!!
