Vintage allows us to travel in time, it allows us to reach the future from a
past. Maybe that's why vintage is so appreciated, so contemporary. Trips
supported by the pieces you find, by the environments that are created from
their colors, shapes and textures of materials, the references of the past,
which update the present in another social perspective, another ethics, a new
aesthetic sense. This is the case of this blade sharpener, which despite its
age and the wear and tear of time can still be useful and necessary in our
daily lives. This particular one has a device, in a kind of drawer to place the
razor.

As you can see in the photos is a very beautiful piece, but beautiful because
the leather, the wood and the whole structure are still with a lot of patina.
It is a simple piece, with a wooden handle, to be held with the hand, then a
long wooden structure, where the leather is held on both sides, and a
double-sided sharpener. In one of the faces the structure of the leather opens
turning to place or remove the knife. The knife that appears in the photographs
is part of the piece, it will be sold together.

This piece is very worn and we have the wood very dark, with dirt stains and
already worn. The leather is also very worn and with some cut marks, as you can
see on the photos, and needs to be moisturized, because it's very dry. Dark,
accumulated grease stains, the obvious signs of age. But it's still a pretty
solid piece.

In good vintage condition, with the details already listed it is a very
vintage use or decorative object.
