Vintage Crosscut Hand Saw Disston & Sons D8 Skew Back 26" 8 PPI Antique PHILADA
Antique hand saw appears to be model D8
Brass medallion reads: H. DISSTON & SONS, PHILADA
Horned wood handle is missing tip on top horn and has a few surface splits
(see pic)
Crosscut skew back blade, complete surface rust patina
Missing some brass hardware: missing 1 of 4 dome screws on front, and missing
4 of 5 flat-head screws on back; medallion present
Circa 1896-1917
Blade measures 26" long x 2.5" high at toe, 6.5" high at handle edge
8 ppi (if I counted right)

Vintage/Antique Disston hand saw in good condition, though blade is complete
surface rust. Tip missing on top horn, and some dry surface splits in handle.
Wood dry--needs oiling. Missing 1 of 4 brass dome screws on front, and missing
4 of 5 brass flat-top screws on back; medallion present. Blade appears
straight--no bending or warp.
