Viking Spike Axe-Customized Cold Steel

I am a U.S. knife maker/cutler. I am the creator of the pictured axe.

•This axe was purchased new before being customized and has not been used.
•The factory paint is removed to expose the natural steel of the axe head. I
sanded/ground the steel to a smooth satin finish. The steel has been cold blued
•The head is fitted securely and pinned to the handle with a ¾” set screw.
•The handle has been stained and sealed.
•The handle is cord wrapped and sealed to resist the elements and provide a
positive grip.
•The edge is sharpened.
