This vintage double bit axe with its hand crafted Leather Mask has a low
profile, removeable wire collar for easy hanging in a Den or Rec Room. A 10
pound single nail museum quality picture hanger has also been included for easy
installation.

This rare "Western Clipper" is a classic from the 1920's. Manufactured in
Canada by the Welland Vale Axe Company 90 plus years ago this three and half
pound Felling axe is light enough to carry into the woods on an overnight
camping trip and heavy enough to get any wood cutting chores.

The handmade leather axe mask has been hand dyed and accented with a classic
strap and brass buckle closure. The brass riveted seams are designed top take
the stress of many years of active use and the interior of the mask has been
lined with pigskin or added weight and durability.

The vintage hickory handle has a hand wrapped Jute collar for added
reinforcement and with care will provide many more years of service.
