Completely hand made 10" dovetail/tenon saw. The handle is made from
Mederteraning olive wood, the blade from .020" thick 1095 spring steel, is 2
1/2" wide and 10" long. It's 14 ppi rip cut and can be ordered with a differant
tooth count, also, has been hammer set with very little set. The handle is a
copy of a 150-year-old Groves and Sons back saw and has brass split nuts.
I make other types of back saws with different kinds of handles and lumber. If
there is a different configuration you would like please let me know.
When I make my saws I test cut with them on different types of lumber and I
make quite a few cuts so don't be surprised if you find some minor scratching
and some saw dust on the blade.
Also when I make my saws I try to make them look good but most of my efforts
go into making them good user saws.
This saw is not the one you will receive, you will get one just like it. They
are made to order and may as long as a week to receive. Usually faster though.
Thank you for your concideration. MikeLately I have had a lot of orders and
it's taking more than the two weeks it usually takes to finish a saw. It has
been taking 3-4 weeks. I will try my best to get caught up and get it back to
two weeks. Thank you for considering one of my saws. Mike
