What you see in the photos is a major transformation from an old, rusty saw
that it was before I got my hands on it.
The black paint was chipping and rust formed where the paint chipped off. I
sanded off all the rust and old paint with my angle grinder to expose the bare
steel. I then prepared the surface by spraying the entire tool (except the
blade) with self etching primer. Then several coats of red paint were applied
to the main frame of the tool. Metallic silver paint was applied to the blade
clasp. The whole frame was then treated with several coats of clear protective
The blade was sanded and lightly grinded down to get rid of rust and old
patina. I then prepped the blade and then applied liquid blue treatment to
freshen up the patina look. The blade teeth are VERY sharp!
The entire tool weighs 1 lb, 2 oz.
This bow saw would be a nostalgic item to bring along with the family this
holiday season to cut down the Christmas tree. It would also make great wall
decor for any garage workshop or mancave.
I typically ship same day if payment is confirmed before 5pm M-F or 2pm on Sat.
