A lovely old hand saw, crafted with a wooden keyhole handle that is easy to
grip. This saw would probably be described as a compass saw because of its
long, thin blade. Similar to a keyhole saw it gets more narrow at the tip,
designed to make twisted incisions and reach places that other saws can’t
possibly reach.
All wood, the pistol-like handle is worn and dinged, however, shows no
apparent cracks or damage.
This beautiful vintage saw is in good condition, with overall wear consistent
with its use and age.
There is a stamp on the wood that appears to be the brand name of the tool
builder, however, we were not able to figure out what the name is.
The length of the saw from the handle to the blade tip is approximately
15-5/8". The wood handle is 4-3/8" and about 1" thick.
Please ask questions if you have any.
