This Ball Bearing Sickle Grinder No. 84 was made by the Luther Tool Grinder
Company sometime between 1936-1941. It was in my Grandfather's tool collection
for many years, before being passed down to me, but now it needs a new home to
been seen again!
This Sickle Grinder is not complete, it is missing the sickle holding
attachment. Everything else is still included and it still works great! Not
including the handle the grinder is 10.5 inches from stone to end, 9 inches
wide and 7 inches deep. It weighs almost 9 pounds. The main handle is wood, and
the main body is cast iron. **The handle may be taken off for shipping.**
The Grinder shows many scuffs, scratches, and marks from age and use, but
overall is in fair condition. It does have some surface dirt and rust, which
will be left as is for the new owner to clean or leave to their liking. Please
