The Tomahawk has a fine grind, and cutting is 5" long. Overall length of
tomahawk head is about 8". The tomahawk is hand crafted of 1085 leaf spring
steel. It is pictured with hickory wood handle.
All my knives & Axes are built from scratch. I begin construction with a blank
bar of steel, blocks or sheets of handle material, and any other raw materials
needed for the axe. Each axe is made by hand; in fact the only time these
knives and axes leave my hand or are not under a tool directly in my hand is
during the heat treating process. Even then, I quench each axe individually
while holding it with tongs as it comes out of the forge during hardening.
I cut and shape handle material from blank pieces of stock, and often from
natural materials harvested directly from nature. The handles are secured with
epoxy and solid hardware. Each axe is truly one of a kind. While I offer
specific models, you can be assured you own the only BM knife exactly like it.
I've been using axe and knives for years. I'm always thinking of improvements
to make a better blade and axe head. Because of this, I have come up with
several of my own designs. The custom blades and axes shown represent years of
use and tweaking to put all of the best features together.
The highly polished handle is ergonomic and doesn't create hot spots with use,
feels great in hands. Very well balanced when it comes to swinging. Shape and
sharpness of axe blade cuts thru material easily with solid cuts and has
durable long lasting edge. Edge of blade is heat treated to 58-60 HRC. Leather
sheath has belt loops and retains axe well protects edge of blade. These tools
are hand forged using best practices for longevity and durability. This is a
high quality hand forged tool that has been quality tested to ensure that it

Our prices are extremely low due to policies we put in place. These policies
are used as guidelines. We reserve the right to override any policy at any
time. Under all circumstances the buyer pays for return shipping. In some
cases, we may not require you to send the item back to us, but please contact
us first. We accept returns only if the buyer has paid for the return shipping.
Returns must be sent in their original box, unused, with all original tags and
materials. WE DO NOT ACCEPT (OR REFUND FOR) ALTERED OR MODIFIED ITEMS. WE DO
NOT ACCEPT ITEMS DAMAGED DURING RETURN SHIPPING. Altered items or items sent
without their original packaging will void any refunds.
Returns Due To Defective Merchandise:
Any product that you receive is defective you have 15 days after receipt of
product to contact us. After 15 days, we are not obligated to accept are
defective merchandise. All returns must be pre-approved before sending the
items to us. We can then exchange the product. Refunds may only be issued when
an item is no longer available. All items must be sent back to us in the
original packaging with all parts included.
Returns Due To Shipping Damage:
If your package or merchandise arrives damaged, please let us know within 5
days or receipt of the package by emailing us your full name, order number with
a detailed description of the damage. You may email us. Once we have been
notified of the damage, you are then responsible for filing claim with the
shipping company. DO NOT send damaged items back to us without approval. All
items must be sent back to us in the original packaging with all parts included.
Returns Due to ACCIDENTAL ORDERS:
If the order was placed by accident and was shipped, shipping costs are not
refundable. It is your responsibility to read the product description before
placing an order. It is your responsibility to make sure when ordering the
shipping service and cost. We will not return any shipping costs once the order
has been shipped under any circumstances.
Returns Due to UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS:
We cannot return merchandise due to the fact that you do not like the
merchandise. We will not exchange or issue refunds in cases where the customer
simply does not like the item or is disappointed with the item. If an exception
is made, then the item will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Our website provides updated information on stock levels of our products. If
an item oversells, we will contact you to make other arrangements.
We are not responsible for credit card fraud. We cannot refund merchandise if
your credit card was used without your authorization. It is your responsibility
to contact police authorities in this event.
Returns are not accepted for international orders. We do not refund any
shipping costs for international orders for any reason. If customs refuses your
package or it is not delivered to addresses outside of the United States, we
will not refund any amounts that are incurred for shipping, handling, customs,
importation, or other transportation related to the transaction. Buyer should
be aware of the laws and regulations for their own country and buyer assumes
all risk when purchasing items that may be prohibited in their area, or may be
refused at customs. For example: if a Viking Sword is shipped to Denmark and
customs refuses it and sends it back to the seller, the seller will not refund
the shipping cost back to the customer. If the merchandise arrives damaged
there also may be a 50% restocking fee associated, or possibly no refund at all
depending on the circumstances. Seller has made it clear that buyer will not
receive a refund for shipping internationally outside of the United States.
