Antique large knife sharpener made by F. Dick, Germany, early 20-th Century.

Friedr. Dick was founded in Esslingen in 1778 and after more than 225 years is
still a family-owned enterprise.

The tool is made of cast iron with ergonomic wooden handle and protective
guard.The design is sword-like, serving aesthetic decorative purposes, as well
as the tool's practical use.

The sharpener has expected normal wearing due time, the hanging hoop is
missing.
