Antique 22 inch D-23 Henry Disston straight backed crosscut panel saw aged
between 1911 - 1928. Signature polished steel, apple wood handle, 4 brass
screws. 13/16ths inch medallion reads DISSTON PHILA. Good handle has wear and
paint flecks. Two very slight kinks to the blade near the toe that are slight
enough to go undetected in the photographs. You can see them by putting your
eye level at the handle, then look down the saw plate, and turn your wrist
clockwise back and forth. Not recently sharpened, if ever. Measures
approximately 1.5 inches at the toe and 6 inches at the heel (perpendicular to
the teeth.) It has a 21-1/2 inch cutting edge and a total length with handle of
about 25 inches.
11 ppi points per inch = 10 teeth per inch.
Shipping cost includes a USPS surcharge for extra length and is otherwise
calculated by your zip code and the weight of the package.
